Maronite Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Maronite Christian community of Lebanon, long rooted in the country’s mountain villages. The Maronite Church has been in communion with Rome for centuries while still preserving its own ancient Syriac liturgical traditions, and it was the rugged, easily defended terrain of Mount Lebanon itself that historically gave Maronite communities the isolation needed to preserve their distinct identity through many turbulent centuries. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.
