What this song means

Duérmete, Niño Chiquito is one of the best-loved lullabies in Venezuela, sung by generations of parents to soothe a restless child. A simple bedtime tune, woven deeply into the country’s musical identity.

Traditional Venezuelan lullaby. The Spanish lines are the real, well-known traditional opening; the English lyrics are a singable adaptation, not a literal translation.
