Sichuan Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by Sichuan, the misty mountain province in southwestern China famous as the homeland of the giant panda. Sichuan’s giant panda habitat was recognized by UNESCO in 2006 as the largest remaining home of these animals anywhere on Earth, and the province’s fertile Chengdu Plain has long been called the Land of Abundance, its rich harvests made possible by the ancient Dujiangyan irrigation system, built more than 2,250 years ago and remarkably still in use today. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.
