Sorbian Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Sorbs of Lausitz, a Slavic-language minority in eastern Germany renowned for their intricately painted Easter eggs. The Sorbs speak two related but distinct dialects, Upper and Lower Sorbian, and every January children celebrate Ptaci Kwas, the Bird Wedding, when songbirds are said to marry and reward good children with sweets left on windowsills.
