What this song means
In Korean, jajangga (자장가) is both a specific song and a whole category of song — every family seems to have its own small variation, often built around the repeated, soothing syllables “jaja jaja,” rocked in rhythm with the cradle. It is less a single fixed text than a living tradition, reinvented quietly in every household, generation after generation.
