Trinidad and Tobago gave the world the steelpan, invented from oil drums and now the national instrument, and Trinidad's Pitch Lake is the largest natural deposit of asphalt on Earth. This original lullaby, using 'doux-doux' (a Trinidadian term of endearment from French Creole), borrows both of these unique local wonders.
