‘Halí, belí’ is one of the most recognisable refrains in Czech lullabies (ukolebavky), a soft, wordless sound used to soothe a baby to sleep. Traditional versions often wander into whimsical orchard and garden imagery — picking plums and raspberries. This original arrangement keeps that same gentle refrain and orchard warmth, with ‘broskvičko’ (little peach) as an affectionate nickname for the child.
