Circassian Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Circassian community of Jordan, descended from Caucasus refugees who settled in Amman generations ago. Forced from their Caucasus homeland in the 1800s, the Circassians carried their language, dance, and hospitality customs into a new life in Jordan — and their traditional circle dances are still performed today at weddings across the city.
