One of the oldest lullabies in the Finnish folk tradition. The odd-sounding “tupakkarulla” pictures a baby wrapped into a small, round bundle. The song asks where sleep will come from and answers with the tunturi — the northern fells — as if drowsiness itself drifts down from the Lapland hills onto the child’s cheeks.
