Lhotshampa Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Lhotshampa, Nepali-speaking communities of southern Bhutan’s warm foothill valleys. Lhotshampa families first settled Bhutan’s southern foothills in the late 19th century as farmers, but in the early 1990s tens of thousands were expelled from the country, spending decades afterward in refugee camps in Nepal before many were eventually resettled in countries like the United States, Canada, and Australia. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.
