Amis Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Amis (Pangcah), Taiwan’s largest Indigenous Austronesian people, who live along the island’s Pacific east coast. The Amis hold Ilisin, a harvest festival of singing and dancing that can last for days, and theirs is one of the few societies in Asia where family land and lineage are traditionally passed down through the mother, not the father. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.
