Bornholm Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Danish island of Bornholm, known for its round medieval churches and the smokehouses of Gudhjem. Bornholm’s four medieval round churches were built with thick stone walls partly for defense, doubling as refuges during raids, and in Gudhjem, the tradition of smoking herring over smoldering alder wood has been passed down for generations, filling the harbor town with its distinctive smoky scent. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.
