Dalmatian Lullaby

Dalmatian Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Dalmatian coast of Croatia, home to klapa, an a cappella multipart singing tradition recognized by UNESCO. Klapa is traditionally sung a cappella by a close group of men standing in a semicircle, their voices blending into rich, layered harmonies without any instrument at all, and UNESCO recognized the tradition in 2012, with songs still commonly built around themes of love, the sea, and home. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.

What “Dalmatian Lullaby” Means
