Kouilou Lullaby Lyrics. An original lullaby inspired by the Kouilou region along Congo’s Atlantic coast, centered near the port city of Pointe-Noire. Pointe-Noire grew from a small fishing settlement into the Republic of Congo’s main deep-water port and economic engine, and just inland, the Kouilou region is also home to the Diosso Gorge, a dramatic red-clay canyon sometimes nicknamed the Congolese Grand Canyon. Here you will find the lyrics, meaning, and chords.
