What this song means
In Balochi tradition, lolly is not a single fixed song but a whole living genre of lullabies, each one shaped by the mother singing it. Some, like laloo shesghani, are sung on the sixth day after a birth, calling on blessings for the child’s future; others simply carry a mother’s own prayers, wishes and the moral values she hopes to pass down, wrapped in a gentle melody.
Traditional Balochi lolly lullaby style. The English lyrics are an original singable arrangement offered as a respectful tribute to this living tradition.
